Resolution Is All Ears for New Series, "The Playboy Club"

Resolution is providing postproduction audio/ADR services for “The Playboy Club”, a provocative new NBC drama. The highly anticipated series from Academy Award-winning Executive Producer Brian Grazer, stars Eddie Cibrian and Amber Heard.

After Resolution initially worked on the pilot episode this past spring, the studio was again chosen to provide ADR services for the ensuing episodes. Account executive, Karen Cooper, has spent the last weeks working with post-production supervisor Jeff Dickerson in L.A. to schedule a dozen of the show’s cast members, including Cibrian, Heard, Laura Benanti and David Krumholtz, for sound sessions with Bryen Hensley. In addition, evening audio sessions are also held at the studio so show creator/executive producer Chad Hodge can connect with L.A. for reviewing and finalizing the broadcast mix.

The show is set in Chicago during the early 1960’s. At the center of the story lies the legendary and seductive Playboy Club. Nick Dalton (Cibrian) is the ultimate playboy and one of the city's top attorneys with mysterious and complicated ties to the mob. Nick comes to the aid of Maureen (Heard), the stunning and innocent new Bunny at the club, who accidentally kills the patriarch of the Bianchi crime family. Other executive producers of the series include Francie Calfo, Jason Burns, Dick Rosenzweig, and Ian Biederman. Hodge also wrote the pilot, which was directed by Alan Taylor ("Mad Men," "The Sopranos"). The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Alta Loma Entertainment.
