Field Production for Lollapalooza Web Video Content

August 2010

After forming a great working relationship and creating an intro video for Rick Bayless earlier this year, TimeOut Chicago hired Resolution to create promotional web videos in support of the three-day Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

Exclusive Rare Finds Performances
Each morning a band would play a live, free concert outdoors at the Hard Rock Café. The bands included Rogue Wave, Neon Trees, and the Freelance Whales.

Each afternoon our camera crew rode on the Ray-Ban sponsored trolley that brought concert goers from various points in the city to the festival in Grant Park. Local performing artists entertained the trolley passengers.

Resolution filmed and edited the exclusive performances and related festivities.  The resulting web videos played on both Ray-ban.com and Chicago.TimeOut.com.

Resolution’s Lollapalooza Team
Jeff Tudor, Nancy Keres, and/or Mitch Apley were on location with camera man Gino Russano. Melissa Taylor produced and Brendan Jamieson edited keeping post production going all weekend long. The turnaround was less than three days for all six videos to be shot and finished.
